Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jamesenez on September 2, 1966 is an American and Mexican actor and producer. She started her career in Mexico by playing a lead role in the television drama Teresa (1989-1991) as and the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) and for which she won an Ariel Award nomination. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) are just a few of her many Hollywood credits. Hayek's portrayal of painter Frida Kahlo in the biographical film Frida (2002) and the film she also co-produced was the first Mexican actress to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress[6In addition, she earned her Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. Hayek played the lead in the action-packed Once Upon a Time in Mexico films over the next years and concentrated more on creating.
