It was common for him to be picked on at school. Being known as a Spider-Man lover, he described himself as Spiderman's alter ego, Peter Parker. After attending several schools including Priory Preparatory School and City of London Freemen's School the actor took classes at Central School of Speech and Drama and the University of London where he was awarded his degree in 2004. Acting became his passion after realizing he wasn't so attracted to studying business anymore. The actor began his professional profession in 2005, when he was cast in a British television show titled "Sugar Rush". In the feature film "Boy A" the actor played the role of a young, troubled boy that was seeking to re-build his life following time in prison. He was also in "The Social Network," playing the lead role followed by the movie "The Amazing Spider-Man." Being able to fill a multitude of roles he was cast as the lead actor in the historical documentary "Silence" in 2016. There were numerous awards presented to him, like The BAFTA Award and Tony Award. He also received an A.A.C.T.A. Award for "Best Actor following his role on the film "Hacksaw Ridge." Along with the awards he received, he also won several Oscar nominations and had the chance to collaborate with actors like Sam Worthington, Campbell Scott, and the original Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire.
