Sharp, who was born in Rochester, New York in 1962, took classes in clarinets as well as cellos and pianos at Hochstein School of Music. Sharp's love for theatre at school inspired her to enroll at The Boston Conservatory, where she was awarded a scholarship. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp's initial focus was on the stage. Sharp was a part of The Broadway National Tour of Carousel as well as debuted Off Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. In the improv comedy Eat the Runt, she played eight characters. Sharp also appeared in Abyssinia and Aida. Other performances included: Thunder Knockin', Jitney and The Producers. Sharp has other ideas which she's working on, in addition to the productions for stage and screen. She continues to sing, and is currently working on a full-length album in production. If she's not in front of or behind the camera, or working in a studio to record the music of her choice, Sharp has a love for fitness, and is always in fitness classes and learning Krav Maga.. She likes piano as well, hiking and long road trips. Sharp has a home in Los Angeles.
