Lis Wiehl (born on 19th August 1961) is an American author and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She's an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, previously an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentary for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs Tonight, The Imus morning shows and is the host of the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl graduated from West Valley High School, Yakima. She was born in Yakima. She holds the degree of Bachelor of Arts in English from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) as well as an JD from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past for The US Attorney. She also worked as a NPR legal correspondent. She was the Chief Investigator's Counsel for the Democrats at the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. The time she worked at University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 until 2001. She managed the school's Trial Advocacy Program. The analyst was with Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
